Nature Tours and Accommodation on Kapiti Island

Experience the best of New Zealand nature and hospitality

Kapiti Island is one of New Zealand's oldest and most important nature reserves, and a place rich in human history. Our family first arrived on Kapiti in 1820, and have been welcoming visitors to the island for generations. Join us for an unforgettable experience, surrounded by many of New Zealand's most beautiful and endangered species.

You can visit Kapiti Island for a day tour, or truly experience all the island has to offer with an overnight stay at the lodge. Kapiti Island Nature Tours offer the only chance to spend the night on Kapiti where our family will tell you the stories of the island that is so close to our hearts, and show you the true beauty of New Zealand the way it was.
Please note our rates specified are per person.

We are currently closed for Day Tours, Overnight Kiwi Spotting Tours and Ferry Transport and re-open on the 1st September 2017, with exception of a few spare seats on the ferry to Rangatira on the 29th August 2017.  Please email us to enquire if you want to book a seat on the ferry on the 29th and we will check availability.
