Kāpiti Island is the perfect place to be inspired by the unique natural beauty of Aotearoa, and the perfect classroom to learn more about ecology and conservation.
Our popular school holiday programme includes 3 days and 2 nights of fun, games, adventure and learning on one of the worlds oldest and most important nature reserves.
Kāpiti Island For Kids is running 3 holiday programmes in 2018. These are from the 25th to the 27th of April 2018, 11th-13th July 2018 & 3rd-5th October 2018.
Facilitators: Manaaki Barrett, Åsa Pettersson and Skye Chadwick
Our ferry departs from Paraparaumu boating club at approximately 9:00am, on the 1st day and returns from the island at approximately 3:00pm on the 3rd day.

The opportunity to engage with some of our most beautiful and endangered New Zealand birds like Takahē, Kākā, Weka, Tīeke (Saddleback), Kererū, Kōkako, Hihi and Toutouwai (Robin)
